This photograph tells the story of the art of an indigenous people. I love his handmade straw hat and his attention to detail. He is clearly focused on his art and not the crowd that is watching him work.

Nice capture of the man in work and good artist notes about it, but the background is too bright, mainly over expose and this takes from the initial impact

This looks like the guy with the chainsaw I saw recently. A nice shot with very nice details and a fine look of concentration on his face. Great colors and fine composition.

The focus of this photo is excellent, but what really caught my eye is the intensity of the carver. It is a portrait in creative fervor. The choice of subject was excellent. The photo followed suit. Thank you for sharing.

This is very well photographed to show this man hard at work, creating a totem, he is really concentrating on the fine details, well focused, clear to view, well exposed, colors and tones appear natural. This is a good storytelling image, showing this artist with his tool. Well presented! Best to you in the contest!

i really enjoyed viewing this photograph. What's funny is i've actually been to Juneau and i've still never seen one of these things before. this is a very clear photo. the only thing i could possibly think of would be to edit the exposure on your computer or something. the background is super bright. it's still a great photo though :)
