A gloomy autumn scene...

Naturally framed by a few foliage as if we're looking through a window out into the distant majestic mounds despite the low lit condition.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

I feel like this is a perfect photo, somehow when I look at it a get a chilly feeling hit me like I'm actually standing by the lake in late September, and for a second I'm not at my computer desk but transported someplace else. Thank you so much for this piece, i really love it.

I appreciate how you framed the view of the lake with the leaves, But what I really enjoy is the drama here. The clouds are just threatening and somehow I get the sense that they are moving. lovely sense of depth as well. you bought life to a landscape photo !

This scene really announces the end of autumn and the onset of winter. The dark and gray blue clouds reflecting on the dark blue water creates a sense of cold. The snow capped blue mountains in the distance and the low lying clouds hanging just above the tree line make me think of cold fog.

With fine handling of the camera, you have captured an image which is classical in its composition. The harmony of colors and atmospheric light play a supporting role. Well done!

Nice image of the lake, mountains and clouds. I think the overall image could be somewhat brighter. I like teh way the clouds are wafting through the valley and across the face of the mountain. The colors in the trees looks good and the reflection works well. I don't think the foreground framing is as effective as usual. I would definitely get rid of the branch coming up from the bottom in the center. Well seen.

A very nice shot. I like the heavy overcast and the beautiful light it provides. The colors are beautiful and the reflections on the water are eye catching.
