Breathtakingly beautiful! I just love the composition. The way the tree line, hills and mountains encircle the lake is exceptionally beautiful and the circle is completed with just the right amount of foreground leafy branches. Very artistic. The lighting at early evening is lovely. You timed the shot perfectly. A great job, Pat.

This has such an atmosphere to it. You can feel the chill in the air. The sky is dark and brooding like a storm is coming. Good framing of the landscape. The water is so soft and serene looking. This is just a great overall image.

There's little else to say. I'm so awed by the beauty of so many of your photos. Stupid trees are in the way of my possible view of the St Lawrence Seaway. I might actually get some really good captures then.
The colours are wonderful and the sky is gorgeous with those clouds. The reflection in the water is somewhat blurred, yet whole. LOVELY!

A very beautiful & atmospheric picture of Skilak lake with mountains surrounding it rising up from it's shores behind the trees growing along the shore, the grey rain clouds floating over head just above the trees , these, the mountains & the trees reflected on the lake's glistening surface, the latch trees turning gold bringing splashes of colour in between the dark Pines. Beautiful atmospheric composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
