I have always enjoyed your work and this one is no exception. Nice clean lines. Picture tells a story all on its own. Excellent composition. Thank you for sharing with us here on FAR.

If this is about foster kids you might make me cry...I shall just have to wait and see. The forlorn expression on the child and the menacingly dark shadow of the man behind him makes me think of prison. Now you have piqued my curiosity so get cracking!

Well now I'm curious and can't wait to see your other illustrations and when this piece finally gets put together.
This is another great work of art as usual with excellent detail and beautiful color. Really looking forward to seeing this!

this is so pertinent. After leaving the children's home I had very, very strict parents, but in my case it was my mother, rather than my stepfather. I too used to sit and stare out of the window, wishing, and learnt to use any escape route: have to go to the library, which meant I became very good at English from all I read in this strange new country, for my dream world, trying to forget home sickness -

I think you did something really smart with the colors. The composition deals with serious subject matter, and usually bright colors does not lend themselves well to serious content, but this works because of the stark black spaces in the piece that reminds the viewer what the story is all about. very well done.

Nostalgic creation.
Effective use of dramatic illumination.
Ideal off centered positioning in a visually balanced composition.
Compact framing.
Nice pointillism technique used.

Good use of linear perspective.

The boy looks so sad and like he is imprisoned in the room and is longing to escape. I'll be happy to see the video when it's complete so that I can see the story associated with this interesting picture.

I don't know jet if the video make me laugh or cry if it is completed, but this drawing makes me think. The kid looks as if it is about the cry and the silhouette of the half seen man at the door is almost threatening. You see, I am thinking already about this story. So keep up the good work and keep teasing us.
I like the deep angle of view and how you place the persons. The drawing is well balanced and the kid is emphasized by the darkness behind.
