I love road pictures. This picture give that feel of traveling and going somewhere. The picture has a cool feeling, but the light in the sky gives a nice contrast to the dark and ice below.

Strangely enough his chilly "icescape" reminds me of some vistas from the old dirt El Camino Real that stretched through miles of flat sand and cactus to the horizon in the Viscaino desert of isolated Baja Mexico in the1950's. These long flat stretches of road on the planet certainly give a sense of spaciousness. Thanks for sharing, Daphne Oberon

Another beautiful picture showing us the wild beauty of your State on either side of the frigid highway with a turn at it's end leaving us wondering what we might find around the bend. The low sun adding a golden glow to the snow on the mountains in the distance under a blue sky with low floating grey clouds coming in on the left of the picture. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wow, what a perspective! The panorama works perfectly as well as the slightly off center composition. I result is a fabulous vanishing point. Very effective contrast between the dismal looking roadway and the sunlit distant mountain. All around excellent shot.
