oh how this is such a worrying yet stupendous sight to see these buildings so close to the cliffs edge and the belief that the crumbling and decaying rock faces will eventually see these beautiful structures disappear ...hopefully not too soon...Love sorrento

This hotel has a great view but is precariously built on the edge of this rocky slope. That is one long and treacherously steep stairway to the top. I do not see any benches along the route so I suppose one has to rest on the steps if they get too tired.

Wow ! This is so cool! I feel as if I am there and stepping back from the ledge ! I love the sense of perspective and the sense of height especially as I look down to the docks. I love the fact that I can see the stairs headed down to the docks as well ! Great photo!

We were there way back in 2005 for a wedding! It still looks both beautiful and dramatic. Your nice image is well composed, sharp with good exposure and sharpness. Nicely done!

It sure is a spectacular view (and not an iceberg in sight). A great perspective from high on the cliff. I like the way you were able to include both the old hotel and the shore at the base of the cliff. You almost got the name of the hotel into this shot. That would have been a nice thing to include.

I knew where this was right away. I watch lots of Italy travel shows and dream about going one day. This has a superb perspective and really shoes off the cliff side Topography beautifully. Great DOF and detail. Very well done.

Great view this and if it was from a hotel,then knowing Sorrento,bet it was not cheap,nice to get good views and photos,i have a few from when I was there for half a day when visiting,my photos though consist of the street views around town,its good to get a variety of photos when visiting anywhere..Brian
