Hi Carl thank you for sharing this outstanding representation of our Inheritance... which humanity is leaving to those who are our future.. the intensity of colour seen in your painting has an incredible effect on the mind's eye.. the white glow of the sun is blended well into that rich golden glow that slowly spreads itself into a powerful orange / red hue as it extends into the foreground.. the harmonious effect of the sun speaks for itself in your scene.. the raging inferno of colour most certainly reflects blazing heat and fire in my mind's eye.. and the splashes of colour in the right foreground resemble the burning embers of earth as it is swallowed up by the atmosphere's intensity.. I love the brush strokes of yellow and red weaving their way upward towards the sun... adding textural value and further meaning to the story this scene is creating in my thoughts. the half visible violin is a perfect addition.. it has a message all its own.. as though no one is listening , nor paying attention to what is happening around them. The explosion of fire coming from the frame on the left adds to this message.. There is so much more unsaid within this scene you've cleverly created Carl. A strong message with an excellent title.. The evidence is happening through the globe and yet it seems those with greater powers are blind to the truth.. thanks for sharing this dramatic and outstanding work of art ... it speaks volumes and has been a pleasure to review. cheers mel

This is a powerful expression of a serious subject, you are fortunate in possessing an ability to express your feelings through your art, this shows the fire, blazing out of control, the black smoke rising from what I see as an oilwell, the fiddle, to represent your thoughts regarding the lack of action demonstrated by those in leadership positions, this is very well executed, the colors are dramatic, fire equals destruction. I see in the top left of center, you show light, I interpret that as the hope you still feel.I appreciate the opportunity to view this work! Well presented!

Oh wow - I feel the heat of the anger in this. I also see hope, in the patch of light at the top, so it's not all gloom. So much fluidity of movement in there. Wonderful!

Hi Carl, your anger is sure flowing throughout this marvellous painting, the heat is intense. There are many reasons to fear the world our children and grandchildren are growing up in, and I can see now easy way out of it all the while the politicians continue to get themselves elected on promises which are never fulfilled. A wonderful painting well done.

I can almost feel the emotion going into this paint with the blaze of fire engulfing its surroundings. The subject can be emotional and controversial so I just prefer to comment on the art. This fire is raw and ravaging and it burns with enormous intensity.
