Wow! Great double capture, Grace! I love how the soldier beetle looks on waiting his turn. I don't blame him! He knows to be polite! Lovely colors with beautiful focus!

Cyber six ! This is an incredible capture, perfect place at the perfect time to get the bumble bee and the soldier beetle in the same frame with such perfect focus and clarity ! Of course the exposure is perfect too so we see nice clear details and the true and natural colors and tones, the flowers are interesting and very pretty too, the muted green toned background pushes the subjects forward for a good loot at them! This is beautiful work, well presented and truly a pleasure to view!

Flower Buddies Eh? Hmmmm not sure I am diggin' insects this week!! ;)
Outstanding sharp focus on both with Superb clarity, details and colors. The flowers reminds me me of our pickerel weeds. But this looks like Verbena Hastata or Swamp Vervain/Blue Vervain.
Some call it the heron flower because Great blue herons often wade in the water where these are found.
Fine work behind your lens Greenie!
Bravo!!

Lol, yeah probably not the best post for you to be viewing Sange :)
Thank you for the great rating, in spite of the insect thing!

It is interesting to see these two insects coexisting on the same spiked flower. I like the yellow and black fuzz on the bumblebee. The golden beetle with its smooth black spotted yellow orange hard shell adds another element of texture. The lavender flowers on the spikes are lovely.
