Oh wow! I love this! I'm a big fan of poppies! Beautiful color combination and harmony! Nice shading and lighting. Beautiful blending on the sky. This is just fantastically wonderful!

Looks like a sea of poppies. I really like the shade of red and how it gives the scene a bright boldness. The yellows are placed well and I like the light placement and how it accentuates the flowers.

A very good watercolour rendition of this poppy filled landscape painting. Al the perspective details are right, including the aerial perspective, and the poppies really pop against the lighter foreground.

Such a beautiful scenery! The color flow in the sky is absolutely gorgeous and it makes a great contrast against the red flowers! Great lighting and shadows! Great distance! Beautiful painting!

What a delightful composition and choice of colors! I like the blending of shades in the background that set off the field of flowers. Excellent gradual perspective. This should do well! Daphne Oberon

California poppies? Your painting is stunning. Red is such a strong color but you have skillfully used it so as not to bombard the viewer. I would like to go wading in this field of beautiful flowers.

Nice impressionistic view of poppies in a field. Nice sense of movement and flow in the painting that leads the eye back into the image. Good use of a soft watercolor technique to create this piece/ Good color. The sky works very well. Good luck in the contest.

That is an interesting composition. Nice entry for the contest - good luck. Love the mix of colors - especially the red of course! Love how the field of flowers stands out against the sky in the background. Thanks for sharing.
