Suzanne, this is absolutely gorgeous! It might be imaginary but it's very believable! ! I love the colors and textures ! Gorgeous vivid sky! The reflections on the water are so beautiful! ! Very well rendered and an absolute pleasure to view!

Cool blue sky lends a soothing reflection.
Thick impasto strokes suits the foregrounds better and a smoother skyline would give us a farther perspective...
Just a personal opinion though...

I just love the texture and bright colors of this painting ! I really love how you used your complimentary colors and even though it is rather abstract I can imagine seeing foliage and a distant island or cliff in the background just a wonderful piece !

Nicely executed image. Not totally realistic I refer to this style as a representational abstract. Good colors, nice representation of the reflection. Interesting composition. Good use of the medium. I like the heavy paint strokes. Well done.

I like the bold strokes with the knife and that the texture of the canvas board is clearly visible. The colors are vivid and intriguing. The sunset might be imaginary, but I clearly see the forces of nature. This semi-abstract seascape is well composed. It has a great perspective to the descending sun at the horizon and is well balanced by the land in the shadows at right.
