Wow. A super SIX for this one Allan. A perfectly captured dragonfly. Sharp focus, great color rendering and spot on placement in the frame. Background is just right to emphasize this guy. A definite top contender in my opinion. Just a great shot Allan. Best of the best in the contest ~ Steve

A wonderful picture of this dragonfly. I have tried to photograph them many times but can't seem to catch the moment before they fly off. Anyway this is a beautiful photo showing the delicacy of the wings and the fragility of this insect. Good job!

Excellent close up of this interesting Dragonfly on the blade of grass. I like the angle you used for this, showing all the wings and the intricate patterns there and their gossamer nature. I also like the soft background which shows it off very well. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully clear image. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Nice clear photo. The colors seem a bit dull but it works for this photo. I love how it's off set slightly but clearly states what the subject is. Great job and congrats on the recognition status!

Fantastic capture Allan!
Focus is razor sharp, details crisp, white balance controlled and DOF is dreamy smooth. Love when they hold on to a blade of glass like it's a microphone.
