This is one of many(and more to come) for the new music video I'm working on. If you get the chance I invite you to view and of my other illustrated music videos (19 so far) on either YouTube.com (MKFLOOD Presents) or FanMusic.com (mkflood). They are wide range of topics and music. Some will make you laugh, some will make you think, some will make you tap your foot and some will make you cry. They are short from 3 to 5 minutes long. The admission is free but you have to bring your own snacks..mine taste flat..wink. one thing for sure you won't be bored

Oh dear a sad innuendo story well illustrated. The red brick building the sign .. The mum whispers to reassure her child. The child's eyes wide.. uncertain. The green grass says there will be a better future. A well thought out scene I am wondering now about the music!?!?

This is a really well done artwork that pours out emotion from the little girl as she listens to her mom's promise. The tears in her eyes are dramatic and you can feel her pain. Nicely done artwork.

Another great unique cartoon in your music video series, telling the story of the mother and child staying at the family shelter with her reassuring her daughter that it's only temporary. Great use of colours and detail, as always - those bricks make me dizzy just looking at them so goodness knows what it was like for you actually drawing them! You must have amazing patience. One time a fellow sharpie Artist ask me if I can give him tips on shading with sharpies..I responded.."sure...3 steps..practice practice, practice.."evil grin.. been sketching structures for decades.. so with a ruler and a few minutes I can draw ya a brick wall.. practice practice practice.. wink..lol . thanks Suzanne for the awesome review

The situation seems sad, but there is hope shining through. The child cries because she does not understand, but wheat's happening here is probably for the best. It seems the two just escaped abusive family members or were thrown out. The girl cries, but she has still the love of her mother. It seems the mother already looks for a better solution the Family Shelter.
This is a story well told in just one drawing. The tight framing works. The color palette is eye pleasing.
