You know, I rather like your soft gentle style and your multiple objects filled paintings composed in such a way as to force or lead the viewer into the main focus of interest, in this case the man's face. This is an enjoyable picture to look at. Reasons for my five star vote.

This looks like a scientist who is inspecting the banana plant for any diseases, insects or anything that could make the bananas unappealing or inedible. Nice digital work here. natural pose in a natural setting. Well done ~ Steve

This is a different aspect to traditional art. It's unique and tells a story. The colors are wonderful, the red in here helps break up the scene and gives it depth. Nice composition. Thanks for sharing. Nice job.

I love your pictures but have no idea how digital painting is produced, so have a problem gauging it all. I have just made a very successful banana bread, so just had to use this picture. I have a Sri lankan friend who eats bananas as his main source of Carbs along with tuna and nuts! loads of them, so it is a good job they are inspected.

Thank you for your intriguing review! I don't work like most digital artists, I mostly draw laborious outlines using a pencil tool and fill in the colors offered by the program or make my own; as simple as that. To get some effects, I used graphic and other digital styles to modify the appearance, such as to soften the edges of a hard line and so on. I am very slow and take a long time trying out different colors and effects adjusting the gradients!!
Yes this "banana inspector" was my father's administrator who also checked the health of the fruit and the plants in my father's small, high altitude plantation. The Del Monte plantation on the lower planes regularly hired a specialized agricultural specialist from the US to inspect for nematodes and insects that attack the banana plants.
I read somewhere that bananas are beneficial to the intestinal flora. They can't be too ripe though... I seem to have lost track of the one site that told a lot about bananas, but this one mentioned what I am talking about https://www.pcrm.org/media/online/sept2014/seven-foods-to-supercharge-your-gut-bacteria

I like your digital pictures, but have to admit I am not fond of most of them which seem just to mess about with a normal picture and make repeating patterns of them, but not pleasing to the eye patterns!!! - but ssssshhhh don't tell them! I just don't review them.

Yes, I know what you mean. I only use a program because due to old hand injuries, I wouldn't draw art otherwise. I both curse the program I use and thank providence for it!

Thank you so much! My "different style" comes from having taught myself I suppose. Cool had no idea that they were digital. I also had no idea that you where able to do things like that. So do you go back and paint? Or does the computer fill in whatever you want?

I instruct the computer program to fill in the colors I think I might like, but this usually takes a lot of testing and adjustment t get the shading just right. It usually takes me at least thirty days to finish one composition. I had started several before I joined FAR in June, that is how I came up with so many in a short time... Thanks for your interest. Have a great day! Daphne Oberon

Such an innovative, sleek, and pristine piece of art. Love the massive leaf as the background. The colors work well together and there's something mysterious about the banana inspector. A worthy contest entry.
