A joyful painting with lovely spring colors, but the child is warmly dressed for a cold day. Not sure what the yellow fuzz is behind her neck---furry collar, another child? It looks like an eye. Drawing of the face and clothing is very good!

Very good entry for the contest. Lovely illustration which would be great for a children's book. I like the delicate colours you used in this image of the sweet little girl enjoying the falling snow. I don't like to be remind of winter, but I admit this one is very cute. I like that the bird wears a similar cap as the girl and especially I like the intriguing smiles of both of them. I guess the two are ready for a sled race. The composition is intriguing. The drawing is balanced and the tight square framing is adequate. The colors are harmonic and cheerful.
