I think this is a great piece..but...
I notice that some of the shading is inconsistent. The light source on one character is from the left side and on the other it seems to be from the right. I'm not a super fan of the lettering in the sign. I'm not a fan of lettering when I do it.

Very nicely done image with a story to tell. I love the composition with the girl's back to the viewer and the man pointing to the sign. The colors are great. Very well done highlights and shadows in the artwork.

another great take, my pictures are often to illustrate poems and stories which then makes them double meaningful, yours are likewise. You show your skill as a painter as well as illustrator. So real to this day and age.

It seems Mom is working hard on finding a new job, but seems not very lucky so far. The guy in the red shirt and cap might be a employee of the company, but apparently points somewhere to the left. Might be that he gives her some advice where to ask next... The story developed. Might we will be surprised how its end.

I love the sassy little expression on the guys face. It's almost like you can hear the tone of his voice coming through the image. Good color composition, the only thing I would suggest is taking the oranges in the skin tones down. Overall lovely work.

ahhh cassie that would be cool but sharpie and bic markers doesnt make a skin tone and little do you realize there are 7 different colors blended in the skin to this...half century of playing with this brand to make it blend out..so when you look at my work..remember i dont work with art mediums..mine is an office medium..different world than the art world..wink..lol. thanks for the review.
