Oh my garden is full of these every year - as they tend to spread quite well from seed. You may find even with the harsh winter that you end up with new plants next year - they are have the same habit as weeds when it comes to spreading. That aside it is a lovely photo with some really good detail, colour and interest. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, welcome back, and with blue! You sure were missed. These are beauties and you really captured the vibrancy of the color excellently. Very nicely composed too. Yes, blue is hard to come by here too. We have something called Blue My Mind that is like a ground cover, loves sun, and blooms prolifically. Hope all is well. Ed.

There is a variety that grows wild in my back yard. It seems to like the shade but it does come back year after year. Perhaps it reseeds itself, I really don't know. A great image with beautiful colors.

The wild ones do reseed themselves MM. The ones I plant do not but they DO blossom twice.....hybrids. Thank you for the very fine review. Do appreciate it.

Columbine is a favorite flower in our spring garden. Surprised you still have it blooming. It readily reseeds in our yard and some of the plants comeback as well. Nice deep dark purple variety. Good focus and sharpness in this shot. Well seen.

Can it Really be YOU BB? I have been wondering what happened. I hope all is well. I see your flowers are making their show and as always you have captured them so well. Almost time for the flashlight? Great work BB ~ BB
