You wonder what a skull with antlers is doing all alone without the other bones if it died naturally. Good clear photo of the skull among the bright green ferns. Thanks for sharing, Daphne Oberon

Thanks very much for your review! Skull is there where I put it(it is one from my collection),but it is normal to find a skull without additional bones. I have come across skulls with no other bones in the area, often they get moved around or carried off by scavenging animals.Sometimes they end up becoming buried during the continuing change of seasons, covered over by fallen leaves, dirt, and emerging ground cover.

Good photo of a rather gruesome find! Your full and central composition offers us a good look at the remains. Wonder where the skeleton is? Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

Thanks so much for the review. This is one of the deer skulls from my collection that often get toted around in the search of photo opportunities! :)

Nice shot of the skull and rack. Lovely colors and harmony. Nice details and sharply focused. Good story telling ability and center of interest. Lighting and exposure are well controlled. One thing I'd mention is that I would have like to have less green of the skull itself as I think it would improve the contrast and impact of the image overall but that's just my own opinion so its not impacting my score. Good technique and technical excellence. A lovely view. Thanks for sharing....

This is completely awesome! The deer skull in its place of rest on the ground under the wild ferns, it's horns standing up and coming through the ferns, this is well focused, the image is clear, well exposed, natural colors and tones in this lighting, the skull has a bit of a Green tone which it would pick up in this surroundings. Well composed , interesting to view! Well presented!

Thinking this was an entry for green on green. Such an interesting find amongst ferns. It would catch the eye more as a white piece, but understand the green. Well done!

A nicely arranged photo. The ferns are beautiful and the skull and antlers looks natural among them. Very sharp detail in the skull and beautiful colors.
