At first glance I thought this was a photo it is so very full of detail! This sweetie has such an endearing look upon it's face,and I love the catchlight in his eyes. A beautiful rendering,many thanks for sharing!

Hi Cleo thank you for sharing this truly divine digital artwork of None.. Though I have no idea how digital art is created, this outcome is just splendid.. You have captured the personality of this precious face so beautifully. The brush strokes and palette knife used to render his coat of fur is brilliantly achieved.. gives his fur depth and density and a true to life appearance. even the wispy fine hairs around his ears offer further appeal to his sweet little face. You have blended both the tan and blackish hues together well, as they sweep across his brow area and down towards his nose. the highlighted lighter hues add to the value of his coat.. Love the relaxed folding of his ears as they extend droopily towards his expressive bright eyes. fabulous detail around his eye area and the markings that give him that look of enquiry.. I believe it is that very look that makes you want to take him home. His head is slightly tilted and the inclusion of his upper body is a pleasing addition in your portrait. You have really achieved a wonderful ' wet' shiny value in the rendering of his little nose.. gives him a healthy appearance and compliments those bright and intelligent eyes .. great use of white hue used inside his pupil to give reflective value as I stare into his eyes.
The little blue collar compliments his darker coat of golden brown around his mouth and the blackish tones of his upper body.
great choice of colours used in the background. the tones are well blended and allow his cute head to really pop. I love your little story to accompany None's portrait.. a nice thought.. and who wouldn't want to adopt this delightful little four legged friend. His personality really shines through your great artwork Cleo.. gentle natured soul with so much love to give.. thanks for sharing him with us.. He has been a true joy to review.. cheers mel
