This is a wonderful shot of nature. This should be a great place to relax, mediate and forget the outside world for a few days! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

This reminds me so much of Idaho on the way to Yellowstone. There are numerous lakes like this one with cabins that are just wonderful to stay in. Beautiful mountain scene with reflections and great depth of field. You are making me homesick even though I have lived in Tennessee for almost 40 years. I still love these mountain scenes. Thanks for the memories Pat ~ Steve

A beautiful picture of Summit Lake at the base of the mountains with the Pine Trees & Cabins in between them both reflected along with the blue sky above on to the lake's mirror still water. Artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I find the extraordinary clarity of the light and dark areas in this shot especially intriguing. Possibly the shaded area is produced by the shadow of a mountain, or by clouds. The way the brightly lit forest areas brighten up the reflection in the lake brings this light into the shade. My admiration! Daphne Oberon
