That is quite a story with a semi-happy ending. This is a beautiful horse. The low angle of the shot gives it a great sense of height. Good lighting and sharp focus. Well seen. Good luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of Gold striking a pose on the crest of the slope you are standing beneath looking up at him his coat glistening in the sunlight & his beautiful groomed tail & mane hanging down with a beautiful fall. the trees & the blue sky above making the perfect backdrop. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
