Sunset is taking over 2/3rds of space . Train is only a part of the whole picture. The contest does not permit any alterations to original shot :(. Thanks so very much for your time and the fnicereview! I really appreciate it!

I have been on the trains coming from Sacramento and in that very spot a number of times. What an interesting tiny sun. It always intrigues me how the atmosphere and other factors cause the moon and sun to look larger or smaller. Too bad the subtle sunset colors in the fog really do not show up here in what I am looking at. I wonder if the photo needs minor adjustments? Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon.

It always intrigues me how the atmosphere and other factors cause the moon and sun to look larger or smaller. The contest rules do not permit any adjustments at all. We are supposed to post as shot. :(:(

Yikes! Some of the contests are like that, however if your photo does not represent what you saw it seems like you should be able to at least auto adjust; in my experience sometimes both art and photos do not look the same after they are posted, so somehow you have to make that happen, perhaps by, say, exchanging a jpeg for png or vice versa. They can come out differently through no fault of yours... Good luck! Daphne Oberon

It is certainly an unusual sunset; especially if that little disc is the sun. It seems more likely that it might be the moon. In any event the image is nicely composed and very unusual. Best of luck in the contest.

I love sunsets and here you have a sunset with a train. It's a thick cloud cover that filters the sun giving it the appearance of a tiny red ball. This is well focused, clear to view, I like the pink tones with the bit of brightness below it. Well presented! Best to you in the contest !
