Reading your comments, I am not sure what you did. Do you made a copy photo and then replaced the original background with a blurred background?
What ever you did it looks good, but you need to change your mixed media category.
I am not sure which degree of mixed media your creation has, but any enhancements made to a photo are mixed media, even minor enhancements. [Please read about at the Q&A section, you can open when you click the Community tab above.]
In any case your macro creation is intriguing. The fine hairs of the grass plume are well defined and lightened. How the plume curved diagonally throughout the whole frame is eye pleasing. The blurry green background emphasizes the grass plume nicely.

Hi Cleo, I'll check my notes to see what I wrote. I cut out the grass seed head (around every single hair) ,blurred the background and then pasted the grass back on. The background was annoying even though it was slightly blurred, so to let the grass be fully seen I felt the background needed to be blurred. I'm glad you found the image intriguing. I loved the gentle curve of the grass and how it was beautifull backlighted. I'm glad you enjoyed the shot. :o) Helvi

Helvi this is just such a beautiful photograph of this grass. The detail is superb and the lighting is outstanding. Really looks fantastic against the blurred background. Beautiful diagonal orientation of the subject. Really a great entry for the competition.
