What a fabulous study of autumn. A carpet of golden leaves. I can almost hear them scrunching under foot. brightened by a blue sky and blue waters to give it reality and life. Our leaves are just beginning to turn gold and red.

Total Love!!!! I love the colors and the atmosphere that is presented here. I feel more relaxed just by looking at it, lol. Gorgeous shot of a place that I definitely would want to visit, providing I get there before the extreme cold hits! Very well done!

Thank you so very much! North Pole is a little town just north of Fairbanks in Alaska?s interior, complete with a Santa clause house and reindeer farm, the street light poles are candy canes and the McDonald Arches are candy canes too, it?s an awesome little town.

Bit too close to the NP for me! Your fine composition offers us a grand look at your lovely location.
Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Silver Birches growing along the shore of Chena Lake at North pole their leaves falling to make a carpet of golden leaves under them while the sunlight filtering down through the canopy & between the tree's trunks light up the ground between the shadows cast by the trees Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Ok...so any sightings of the man with suit of red, cap on head, beard that's white???? ;)
Very nice POV Pat. I like the ground carpeted with fall foliage and the lone picnic table inviting us in to sit and view the colors of nature.
Nice work!!

What a lovely place to camp! The ground looks so clean and fresh after being newly covered in fallen golden-yellow leaves. The shadows and lighting are perfect as is the depth of field. The pale blue sky and mirror smooth lake water contribute to the peace and serenity of the scene. This is indeed a perfect photo of a lovely camping spot! Daphne Oberon
