A VERY GOOD CLODE UP OF THIS STRANGE OWL WITH HIER SHARP LOOK. A VERY STRANGE BIRD INDEED. UNFORTUNATELY WE DON'T HAVE ANY IN OUR AREA; NICE DETAILS IN HER FEATHERS.

Mr. Owl has an almost human expression. He seems to look critical at what is going on below. Might he disapprove of the camera. The angle from below is interesting. It gives us a good vies of the birds body and plumage. The blue sky in the background emphasizes the owl nicely. The photo is well balanced and framed.

What a magnificent creature. I love the diagonal positioning, which shows off his perfect plumage. Great background, and good use of light. Stunning work.

I missed this one before. Now I know why the gull with a Tootsie pop is so appropriate. What a Hoot!(Ok, that was bad. I would keep my day job if I had one ;) )
Great shot here with a very dramatic POV. The focus is nice and sharp and the blue sky is a perfect background to accent this handsome guy. That is a wonderful slight glow you did which really makes this image. A Cyber Six and a Tootsie pop for this one Grace ~ Steve

EyeCATching image.
The low vantage point enhance the visual language and power dynamics of this diagonal positioned wide-looking creature...
Controlled Subdued lighting!
Soft highlights & faint shadows.
Thanks for sharing...

What a handsome fellow he is,setting atop his stony perch! Nice vertical format sets him off well against the blue sky.Good capture of the detailing and blending of colors in his plumage.very intent look upon his face.I wonder if it was his Tootsie pop that the gull was flying off with, that would explain annoyed look,I wouldn't be happy, either!

This is a splendit shot of old wise guy! What a stern look. The glasses are missing!. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

There was a great horned owl at a campground we were at back in June, he was there to catch rabbits and was very successful too! I was not fortunate enough to get a single photo ! This is well captured, he is looking down on you! He's clear and well focused, well exposed, colors and tones appear natural. Well composed against the blue sky, well presented!
