Pat,
A beautiful view of the lake/river & hillside in Eureka all "dressed Up" in the coppers & golds of Autumn the hill on the opposite bank with it's copper coloured grasses & dark Pine trees reflected on the water's glistening surface.. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Another beautiful shot with great depth all the way back to the looming cloud cover! The location looks a bit lonely but also very peaceful! I know it isn't but the grass in the foreground almost looks mowed! As always have a great day (week and year!) and thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon

Fantabulous strata of golden brown hues capped by dramatic bluish gray clouds!
Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.
Tranquil reflections...
Visually balanced composition in Diminishing perspective.
Vanishing viewpoint lends great depth.
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

What a nice scene Pat. I really like there rainbow of colors in this one. Starting with the green browns in the foreground and moving to thee lake which has such a wonderfully unique pallet of colors due to the reflections of the distant bank and trees. the far hill side is such a beautiful shade of golden browns interspersed with the wonderfully shaped evergreens. The sky with those fluffy clouds completes this grad scene. very well done Pat ~ Steve

Thank you so much! This is up in a mountain pass , the trees are few and grow kind of spindly here,

A beauty to behold!
I like how the golden glow reflects in the water.
A superb fall scene with the overcast sky, the evergreens decorating the golden hillside and reflected in the calm water and the softer hues in the foreground.
A pleasure to view.
