This is beautiful Daphne! It's a wonderful sunrise, it's the start of a brand new day! I love to watch a sunrise! This is well focused, clear to view, well exposed, the colors are gorgeous ! The pinks and blues on the top with the orange and golden yellow closer to the horizon. The land and trees in silhouette below. This is well composed and presented! I really hope you know that you are welcome and a valued member too!

Thank you so very much!! Yes, the committee nor Tom ever even offered an apology for disqualifying the sunset image you worked on. I sent several messages to them pointing out that it had been correctly posted under photography for several days, and that if they checked their records they could verify that; also that they literally gave me two minutes notice that they disqualified me before because they thought it was art starting the voting -- oh well. My first post also never got posted in its contest for strange reasons having to do with a bogus site appearing every time I tried to log in that had nothing to do with me but had my Facebook passwords, not the passwords for this site. ( I check Facebook about every six months and had not done it this year!!) I have no idea how all that happened, but eventually Tom acknowledged that I was in a "wrong account" and let me back into my correct FAR site, but by then it was too late to continue signing High Jungle up for that contest. They will not permit me to enter either disqualified entry in another contest even though neither fowl-up was my fault. Not only that but very soon after Tom got me got back into the right site, a number of members blocked me so I never reviewed their stuff, including Karen Zimma, who I gave a six star rating to. I did wonder about an issue to do with how she did the head a head of an owl , and maybe that was why, but the other people had no reason to block me.... Pretty strange all the way around! YOU AND THE OTHER GREAT CONTACTS make up for all that! Thanks!!... Daphne Oberon

This is a beautiful sunset image, love the colors and details and depth you have captured here, I reviewed your other image , can't believe they disqualified it, I take a lot of sunset pictures and if you set the camera you can get the colors that are created with out any trouble, thank you for sharing, I had a hole sky filled with pink clouds tonight, dale

Thank you very much. I made a big fuss while the contest continues no without my entry but no one is replying. Maybe they never will, though if they do, I will certainly be curious to see how they react... I had two contests crash for "twilight zone" reasons and can only begin to feel like I am not welcome. Too unusual I think... sigh...

A very nice sunrise. The light in the sky is outstanding and the colors are great. As for the picture police-- I don't understand why they are needed or why the names of members of this committee are kept secret.
