My apologies for not responding sooner GaliaG. First let me say thank you for reviewing my work. I'm not biggest fan of Justin Bieber but I did find this pose of him quite interesting and so decided make the portrait. Composition, color, shading and tone helped me achieve a sense of realism and depth. Thank you again for your great review.

Very easy on the eye, and I love your colour selection, as well as the attention to detail. Great use of light and shade. A beautiful portrait indeed.

Nice monotone artwork with emphasis on the red lips and tongue.
Good composition.
Nice artistic technique.
Fine details.
Your chosen angle of perception looking down on Bieber as he looks up is interesting.

Thank you for the review Dale. It was a challenge to render Justin Bieber's hair and haircut just right. Color and shading helped me achieve the illusion of hair. It also helped me get at the essence of his character. Thanks again for your review.

I love the use of color on this piece of paper. His hair is spot on in this drawing. Highlights are well done. I wish his mouth would capture more of his actual smile but you overall did a beautiful job!!

Thank you so much for your review Cameron. It took some time for me to correctly render hair. It took time but it was definitely worth it. I admit that I could have rendered his mouth better and I am continuing to work on this aspect of the face. Thank you again for your consideration criticism.

This is a very good effort and i can tell you put a lot of time and energy into this. portraits are exceptionally difficult to draw or paint though. everything has to be just right and in my opinion, it's just not there

The first thing I notice is his hair! Short on the sides and thick and longer on the top. I see many high school guys with this same hair style. I am impressed as I view this, very well rendered with good detail, well shaped face, nice shading to show the texture and dimensions , beautiful eyes, mouth slightly opened in a smile with his tongue between his teeth and bottom lip, he wears a thick chain around his neck and has earrings in both ears he wears a neutral tones t shirt, I like the neutral toned background.this is very well presented !

Excellent choice of subject.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive strokes & textures.

I know this is easier said than done...
Resemblance is quite okay except for the lips...
Fantabulous fine strokes & smooth textures..,
Thanks for sharing...

Thank you so much for your great review of my work. It is both generous and candid. I agree that the lips are a little off. I created this portrait a while ago and I have improved a bit in my rendering of lips in general. Thank you again for your great review.

I know you'll be a greater portraitist judging from the fine strokes you've rendered here...

I have high regards for meticulous, patient & persevering sketch artists as their works are hundred times difficult than a photographer doing a snapshot! ;-))

This is a very professional and tastefully done color pencil portrait; if you edit it and move over to art instead of photography I think it will jump higher in the listing since Tom told me less art is posted than Photography... very excellent post! Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon

Thank you for your review Daphne. I used the tools at my disposal in order to capture Justin Bieber's charisma and vitality. My favorite components of the work are the hair, eyes and t-shirt. Thanks again for your review.

A very nice drawing although to me it seems that there is something effeminate about his mouth. Nicely composed with good colors and fine technique.
