I Just voted for this so I am here now to review it.
I do like when you do not use filters especially that fin furs and feathers. Your work shines when you show it as is out of camera.
Great white balance control, sharp focus, nice eye clarity and fine stop action.
Congratulations on your win! Yes I know it's too early...but it's a winner.
Bravo.

Nice capture and composition. The focus is spot on and details are great. It's sad that we will likely only see these creatures in zoos in the future as they are poached so much in the wild. Intelligent and emotional, they are wonderful animals. Thanks for sharing.

I'm always so pleased to see a new "Barney" shot. I think he is spectacular. You had some nice light to work with this day. The light on his face is so lovely. And, yes, his expression is priceless. Great focus and detail in his beautiful face. Good luck in the contest. As always, thanks for sharing Barney.

Your vertical framing works well along with good placement of the Gorilla in your frame. Nice expression and emotion captured on his face. Very well focused with good exposure and strong sharp focus on the eyes and face with good details and clarity. A good entry into the Expressions Photography and a good contender. Outstanding photography and post-processing work. Thanks for sharing.

A pretty good entry into the competition presented here! Judging by his present expression I am of the opinion that he is hooting? Your nice image is well composed, sharp, with good exposure. Well done and good luck!

What a stunning capture you have here. He definitely has something special. Good clarity and composition, and great use of colour. I like that you've chosen to show just part of him. Excellent work.
