A very nice image with the sun strategically placed behind the snag. The colors are fantastic and the setting does have a magical look to it.

I enjoyed reading your poetic artists notes and I like the storytelling with your image.
A gorgeous sunset image seen through the Sun Dragon. Good foreground interest. A good balance of tones and shapes and colors. Very well focused with good exposure with beautiful natural colors. Indeed a well taken photo with a good depth of field. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

Quite an interesting and dramatic arty kind of image posted here! Not sure what a sun dragon is but I am sure that I have enjoyed looking at your interesting work. Is the big black trunk really a tree? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

    Thanks Nik. I have no idea what a sun dragon is either. It just looked like a dragons head to me. Yes that is a dead log that was lying on the ground. I had to lay almost flat on the ground to get the angle of the setting sun where I wanted it. Thank you for your review my friend ~ Steve

This is a stunning image! Imaginative presentation.
Impressive mixed media rendition. The image does an excellent job of conveying the title, visually pleasant, well executed. Just nice..

since Ihave never seen a dragon, I would say it is rather a duck or swan neck; lol;
I like the sun behind his beak: of course, it would be better if the beak was open;

    WOW! You know Lucas, coming from someone with your talent this Really means a lot. Very encouraging for me. Yes when we see things from our True vision, that of the Spirit (as you do), our inner eyes are opened and what we see is always amazing to behold. Thank you so very much again Lucas ~ Steve

Yep,'I hear that'Steve! : )
And I'm certainly enjoying this interesting picture that you've presented us with too!
It makes me think of how an unknown species of thick necked sauropod dinosaur might have looked raising it's head above the prehistoric forest to bask in the sun! : )
'Good Show' ,my friend!

    Thanks so much Sean. Yes this reminds me of one of the many prehistoric creatures you have done over the years. We will have to come up with a name for this here to for Undiscovered species. If we name it we could be Famous! Thanks for the review my friend ~ Steve

A truly haunting and unique picture. I enjoy looking at a composition that combines clarity, the immediate foreground and mystery, the dragon hiding the sun. Reasons for my five star vote.
