Beautiful composition! Love the rich redness, how it blends into the grey-blues of the sky and the sublte hints of other colors! Excellently done! Thank you for sharing! Jill

Tiny specks moving up the side and rim of the dune really give a sense of scale. Good use of the lighting to create dramatic shadows. Good color. Well seen and well presented. Thank you for sharing.

Another of your fabulous Namibia series. I really love this. Great use of light and shade to add interest and perspective, and crisp, clear lines. A feast for the eyes.

A beautiful view on this enormous red sand dune. The perspective is great and the panoramic presentation is perfect. What is most riveting about this scene is the deep red color of the sand.

Another great photo of the desert. The clay colored sand against the blue sky help give contrast. The trees in the foreground help give perspective on how bog the dune really is. Thanks for sharing.

A great and unique entry for the contest. The sierra burnt
orange tones of these dunes is just beautiful and rich, and the photograph is crisp and clear. I can imagine this as a national geographic
cover. You have really shown the beauty of the dessert with this one! Best wishes in the contest!

Fred,
A beautiful picture of "Big Daddy" the Sand Dune bathed in strong African sunlight that make for dark shadows I can clearly see the climbers going up the ridge shaped by the wind over time, to get that spectacular view from the top! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
