This is such a lovely and tender scene Linda, and is showing so well the love between mother and child. In a mother's eyes their baby is always perfect, but we have to be grateful that the defect little Owen was born with can be fixed.
Your drawing technique is always perfect, but it is the expressions on their faces I love the most, and I don't get tired of looking at the drawing. Remembering when I got my two children, and how much I loved them, and still do, even if they are adults now.
Thank you for the beautiful drawing Linda. It is so well done and is touching my soul.

You draw from sight? This is an excellent drawing. Even more now that I know that. The shading is stellar in the child and in the woman's face. The only suggestion I have is to add some minimal highlights in the black arms. Even if it doesnt show in the reference.. If you added a little white to seperate the arms it would enhance the piece.
