Good contest entry showing the flower in focus while the bud is blurred.the two balance each out nicely in your well composed photo.Blurred background sets off the sharpness and coloration of the flower.Best of luck in the contest with this image!

Aren't they impressively pretty looking things?
They have a very enjoyable Elegant and Exotic look to them and the purposely blurred background of the picture lends it a fine Dream-Like tone!

Well done. I love shots of the backs of flower blooms. They always provide a new and different view of the blossom. I have been trying to get a back shot of my passionflower but have not been happy with them. This is well done and has nice soft colors. Good detail and good DoF. Well seen. Good luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture f this pale Passion Flower photographed from behind with the light shinging through it's glowing white petals the bud & the feather like foliage adding intered & interesting shapes & textures. I love the passionflower bloom in the pink tones , such intricate detail in the passionflower with the pale pink tones, the detail shows well even from this angle of shot, the bloom is well focused and clear to view, exposure is well handled , colors and tones appear natural.
