These birds are gorgeous, and you captured a great pose with the mouth open and the nice light in the eye. The colors and markings stand out nicely. It's pretty amazing that they can swallow such large bits of food!

What a gorgeous shot of this beautiful Steller Jay Bird. Good in-camera techniques with good light handling and your sharp focus reveals excellent details and clarity on the feathers and markings of this exquisite bird. I like how his beak is open as if he's singing. Superb eye clarity. Indeed a well taken shot with good depth of field. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.
