The view from the house must be indeed beautiful. It looks as if they have a 360 degrees around view from above there as main tread and get a view into the sky for dessert. The photo has a beautiful depth. The view at this landscape beneath thee glorious sky is very impressive. The photo has natural looking colors. The house is nicely placed left of center. The photo is balanced and well framed.

REALLY pretty. You captured the dark cloudy sky so perfectly. The fall colors make this such a lovely scene. You placed the house in the image perfectly. I wonder if they would rent that to visitors. :) Nice work, Pat. thanks for sharing.

Cloudy days are the best for shooting if you shoot in manual. Auto would make the flash go on and white balance would be affected.
Your POV makes this a beauty Pat. Knowing where to stand is half the battle of photography.
Love the fall coloring of the landscape, the moody sky and the lone house on the hilltop.

Excellent moody day shot, Pat. The cloudy sky is fabulous and I like how you let its effect remain over the land without any edits to brighten it up. As such it presents a natural well detailed perfectly composed scene.

( The 'house' in the song was haunted and long abandoned though. )
