Ooo!!! Everything for some reason looks so spooky in Autumn!!! It looks like you drew the dark clouds! I like that you can't really tell if the bushes are rocks and if the rock are bushes. They look so alike!!! I very much like the contrast. Another one of your great photos, Pat!!! You deserve a 6*!!!!! Fantastic job!!!!!!!!!

Fine eye.
Very dramatic landscape image of the dark storm clouds looking very imposing over the little house on the hill. Great colors.
Great composition and presentation with the river below dividing the landscape. Excellent story telling image.

The barren trees go well with that impressive bank of clouds. The scene is nicely composed and the I can imagine the view from that beautiful house.

Thank you so much! I always think about their incredible views! Not sure I would trust the bank that the house is built on , if a bad earthquake happened it could be bad!

Another nice capture. The angle of the shot of the house on hill, terrain and cloudy sky view is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A romance novelist could choose this photo for a book that begins with a "dark and stormy afternoon." The clouds have so much color and motion and highlight both the house and river. The entire image suggests a mystery!

A pretty good and moody landscape presented here! Your fine traditional landscape composition offers us an enjoyable look at your grand location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

I don't know how you manage to constantly post 2 photos every day, and also in such good quality. You must spend a lot of your time taking photos. This is another lovely scene, and I especially like the dramatic looking sky. I also like that you included so much of the foreground.

The hose is standing out sharp and well defined against the sky, and it is also fine details to be seen in the landscape. The colors and the exposure are perfect.

The photo is nicely cropped and with the house placed off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

What a pretty house above the water. Love that brooding sky as it looks like it is going to let loose at any moment. The foreground and cliffside are full of wonderful fall colors. Great composition.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of of the house high above the Anchor River at Anchor Point with views of both the river & Cook Inlet surrounded by trees some already bare branched the other descidious trees dressed up in their autumnal copper & gold contrasting with the dark Conifers. Above in the heavens low flying dark clouds that look to me as if they might be heavy with snow yet to fall their pale colours reflected on the river. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

What an atmospheric capture. It suits the house, the broody sky, but there's brightness in the foliage and the water. Well composed, fabulous colours - a beautiful shot.
