This is a very well made still-life painting made from soft pastels! The depiction of the multitudes of fruits with multitude of shapes against smooth background makes interesting viewing. Overall a fine painting. Good effort! Good luck!

Thanks for your generous comments on this piece. When I decided to create it wanted to convey a sense of home and intimacy as well as a sense of spirituality to the viewer. The way I composed the fruit and my use of colo, light and shadow helped me achieve this. As always, thank you for your review.

Beautiful still life piece, very well rendered with beautiful colors and tones, beautiful detail in each of the fruits, I like the orange sliced in half with the knife in front of it, the grapes, apples and the pear, show such realistic detail, very well arranged with nice lighting , very well presented!
