Nice image of this pretty young gull. The horizontal composition with a nice bokeh in the water in the background is really pretty. Lovely soft light on the bird makes this a pleasure to view. Good luck in the contest.

Love the clarity in this photo and how the sun plays on the bird, stone and the water. The way the water sparkles in the background catches your eye. The composition is well done. Good luck in the contest.

Very good entry for the contest. As I live on the coast I'm used to seeing these young seagulls as their feathers are turning white - it always surprises me how big they become and still want their parents to feed them! Some are even bigger than the parent. Excellent lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Very good composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

I love the color pattern on this young gull, they change so much from babies to adults, this is clear and well focused, exposure is good, colors and tones appear natural, I like this composition with the young gull resting on the wall at the edge of the water,the water sparkles and the bokeh adds further interest. I see good detail in the soft feathers, the only thing that would improve this is if the eye was a bit brighter, otherwise, well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest !
