Steve, I really like how you explained this one... I like to think we are pure light and will move on to parts unknown as that pure light.

Your depiction of this is truly amazing.

Nicely done with that flop effect. Love the colors too... good one :)

The mirror effect is interesting. Your creation is technically perfect. The colors are emotional and intriguing. The creation has a good dept and is well balanced and framed. These two, which are originally one, seem not to change, but they do. That is because your creation has a different impact on each and every reviewer who looks at it. We reviewers do not only see with our eyes but also with our mind and emotions. Your creation is therefore "Pure Potentiality" as well.

Thank you Cleo. You are so right in that what we see (or rather what we 'think we see' ) is subject to the filters of emotions, memories and the ever changing images we carry around with us. Thank you so much for sharing your insight with me ~ Steve

What an interesting image. I love the orange and "black" contrasting colors and being able to see the details of the water between the mirrored images! Nicely done.

I read through your notes Steve, and you are of course right, even if it is not something I go around thinking of.

It is also a creative and original image you have created using the mirror effect. It is lovely as well with the strong golden colors, and it almost looks like the rock statues are kissing each other.

It is easy to see that the original photo must have been sharp and that the exposure was good.

I think the composition is working, but I wonder if the impact would be even stronger if you cropped on left and right. This is anyway a great looking and well done mixed media.

Thank you so much Annie. Yes, you are right about the cropping.I did that and it looks muchbetter with the rays appearing from the top corners. Just in time for this one to end. Thank you again Annie ~ Steve

Your description is very poetic :) Lovely thoughts that give this image a beautiful significance. I like how you united all aspects of the shot. The sun rays united in a halo is a very nice touch. Your signature color saturation style works great for this piece.

Thank you so much Grace. Yes i guess I do tend to over saturate the images. That is just they way I like to view life, with an abundance of color anda view of the limitless potential of all that surrounds us. Thank you again Grace~ Steve

great image and wonderful artist notes to. a fine photo that has a wonderfuul realization. the colours from the burnt orange sky to the horizon are perfect, to express this feeling and the mood it provokes. the light streaks in the sky are also a focal and very strong feature.

"If God is spending work upon a Christian, let him be still and know that it is God. And if he wants work, he will find it there-in the being still."
~ Henry Drummond

I find too many people get caught up in the digital world of cyber space.. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text, emails...
Too much sharing ... gossip..lies.

I like simple things...honest God fearing friends, my brother and my dog. I look to God before I make a move.
He is my Rock... people fail you..
God never does.
I like your clever mirror image where you changed the rock pile on the right a bit.
I really love the orange glow and majestic fractal like light in the sky.
Your message, creative photo and artistic enhancements all work well here Captain.
A true Be Still and know moment.
;)

Thank you so much my Best Bud and Dear Friend. I have so many things I want to say yet this is not the place. I will say that I do understand how people get caught up in the digital world of cyber space. I am not involved in any of the social media sites as they are such a distraction from what is Really important in life. I will say that when one becomes truly 'Still' one begins to see God and his creation through His eyes. Then one sees that His Infinite and Unconditional LOVE for ALL His children makes one seem judgemental and conditional and That is the Antithisis of HIM. HE simply smiles at each one with a Loving Understanding. Yes people Often fail us or do not meet Our expectations. I have come to realize that it is not others who has the problem. They are simply doing and reacting the best they know how. I am the one who has Unrealistic Expectations of others and that is very Unfair of me. Hmmm, didn't intend to say so much. I do thank you so much for your insightful review and Grand rating Bud. You have touched the Captain.

Love this! Colors are rich and I especially love the glow upon the water. I enjoyed the story line that went along with this, gave me more perspective into the picture and made me think and look at it a different way. Wonderfully done! Thank You for sharing! :) Jill

Thanks so much Jill. Actually this was only one pile of rocks. I mirrored it and made a few changes to make it look like two figures. As I looked at the scene and began to open up the commentary just seemed to come. I have an idea where the inspiration comes from. I tell people in all Truth that God sets up the scenes for me and all I do is push the button on my iPhone. Then everything somehow comes together. Thank you again Jill for expressing your thoughts ~ Steve
