Wow! This one really makes me think! First of all, this is a beautiful image, the stack of rocks ( which I see all of the time when I am on beaches and up until viewing this , I never really gave much thought to the stacked rocks, and I never tried to give the stack a meaning) reading your narrative, it makes me think, we are all potentials, when we are joined with another potential and become one, we then create a third potential which is a combination of the two individuals , being combined we become stronger and more powerful, we call that Love, it's the most powerful force, here you show the couple, combined as one and the force so strong , it sends golden beams of light up into the heavens. This is such a deep orange tone in the sky it reflects beautifully over the water between the couple . This is well photographed, with good focus, the image is clear, the stacked rocks add interest and bring texture to this scene, your post processing was effective to create the mirror image that represents your narrative! I will never pass a stack of rocks on the beach again without pausing and thinking and really looking at them. Thank you for sharing this !

Thank you so very much Pat. Your detailed review is such an encouragement. I knew that the photo and narrative would not be for everyone. You have the insight to see what it is I am attempting to say. Iam pleased that you understand and that you enjoyed the phoyo and narrative ~ Steve

A marriage made in the rays of the sun on a sandy beach. I like it. Nice silhouette of the piled rocks with a water reflecting sun behind. Interesting rays in the bright sky. Good color good focus and definition. Tells a story. Well seen and created.

I'm not sure what I like more, the photograph or the deep thought provoking narrative...
The photo itself is so symbolic and subject to much interpretation. The symmetry of the sky, the stone structures, the warm vibrant color, are all so appealing. Your story and notes are just the icing on the cake, turning this beautiful shot into a deep profound meaningful story, that I just loved reading. I only wish I could express how beautiful your writing is, and how it makes me feel. Topic for discussion!
Beautiful work FS!

Wow. Thank you so very much VO. This is the first time that I tried a mirror effect. The moment I saw the scene it hit me as one of those images that was waiting to be set free. And then as I looked at it the thoughts just came and all I did was write them down. I have no idea how all this works but it is so magical to watch as it unfolds. I am simply an onlooker. Thanks VO for the Fabulous rating ~ FS

My pleasure FS! You're much more than an onlooker!
Quite a mirror effect...They look slightly different!

Yes I did change the figure on the right as well as the ground so that it looked just a bit different than the other side. Good eye for catching that VO.

Well actually my eye thought the one on the left was the male! Just saying!

Could be. These stone people ( the original Stoners) are hard to tell apart sometimes. They are terribly difficult to have a conversation with. Kind of the silent type I guess.

I sure enjoy your philosophical notes, Steve, and you have created a great piece to fit your theme. The mirror effect can do some very neat things and it takes a keen eye and a creative spirit to choose just the right shot for it. You have done that here with a very effective and compelling result. Very well done. Ed.

Steve,
A beautiful picture of this "pair" of folk created by balancing one stone /rock upon another their"faces" touching as if kissing as the sun sets behind them glistening on the water's surface & colouring the sky a beautiful glowing orange. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

An eye catching image with an overabundance or symbolism. I like the two figures and the light between them. The composition is attractive and the colors are outstanding.
