A cute & candid capture!!
Romantic threesome with the two mates whispering sweet nothings while the other one is concentrating on something only he has seen it...
Graceful framing for these lovey doveys!
Harmonious colors.
Thanks for sharing...

Oh now this is nice Susan. With a little snow or Christmas decor this would remind one one of 'And a artrige in a pair tree'. I like the oval frame andhow the wall splits the scene leading the eye directly to the Pigeons. Nice work Susan ~ Steve

    Steve,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on these Wood Pigeons on the Pyracantha.
Partridges mainly feed on the ground so finding them in the tree was Poetic licence.

You captured nice detail of these birds. I like how you were able to get the eyes to clearly show on each pigeon. Looks like they are enjoying a smorgasbord of berries!

The three pigeons looks really cute, and how fortunate for you that they have all landed on such a lovely bush. The brick wall and tree in the background offers a perfect background, and the birds are standing out from it in an excellent way.

Your photo is sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen both in the birds and the bush in the foreground, and the exposure is just perfect.

I like very much the delicate beige colored framing, and everything has got a very good placement within the circle. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Susan, and with an excellent DOF.

An eye pleasing elliptical framing for this beautiful trio of wood pigeons. They resemble our mourning doves a bit. A fine composition that shows how they are acclimated to human presence.

Another of your lovely globe effect images, Susan, showing the Wood Pigeons feasting on the Pyracantha berries in the bright sunlight. I like how you picked out a colour within the image to use for the frame. Excellent lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Very good composition and thank you for the informative notes with this. Suzanne
