Especially love the coiled proboscis and the pattern in the eye. The detail is fantastic.

A very nice shot. I like the coiled proboscis and the mottled eye. The composition is nicely balanced by that long antenna. Very well shown details that stand out nicely against the dark background.

Great shot of this butterfly. Clear resolution on the head area. The eye is really interesting with its checkerboard pattern, as is the antennae. Black background is effective. Well seen and well taken.
