Sesha,
A thought provoking picture of the man curled up under the root of a tree that shelters & protects him. Created by your artist's eye for composition, very skilful draftsmanship & shading to bring this vision to life.

This might be one of my favorite pieces you created! You did such a great job creating this young boy near a tree!
You showed great detail in the tree and in the boy!
Great job!

How very unique Seshadri. Your poem and the drawing goperfectly together. It is so true that manid dependent upon nature andnature greatly benefits from man. A great entry for the contest. Best of the best in the voting my friend ~ Steve

You are very good with rendering fine details and such precise lines. I like how you have created a strong connection between the person and the tree. The poem fits perfectly with the theme.

There is great flowing movement in this drawing. The are loads of little details that make the eye work all over the picture: the mingling fo lines into the pattern of the kimono, the flow of the hair up the tree trunk, etc. I find there is a slight imbalance between the smallness of the tree and the large human figure.

I love your ink drawings and wish you would do them all the time instead of all the technological stuff which I don't understand, but anyway, I too am hobbying acrylics now, which are totally out of my style, as I find its capabilities. Just love this as I do most of your people works!

I am very glad you liked it. Thank you so much for the positive review and support and the high rating my friend! . I really appreciate it. I am doing a few for the last one month and I will be posting them in the coming days! :) Good luck with your acrylic paintings. They dry fast and you need to work fast!

indeed, but what I am finding is that you can overpaint mistakes. It is strange after a life time of some 70yrs of painting, to find something which I cannot immediately twist about as I wish it to be. It is very bold and brash as it pleases to be!!

Very nice artwork. Good imaginative creation with the tree and its parts represented by many lines of various thickness and man with fewer lines. Good shading.
Good initial impact and presentation.
Excellent artistic technique.

A playful, out of the box creation with graceful flowing lines leading he viewers' eyes up & down the tall format framing.
Nice tonal range.
Fine features & textures.
Indeed a dramatic interplay of all sorts of lines--horizontal, vertical, diagonal, curved, twisted, etc.
