High stepping cockrel. Isn't he a gorgeous specimen!! and I can only congratulate you on the spectacular background /to us, maybe not to you/ My step dad had chickens in UK in an allotment. They were farmers at home, and when we came here, always had to work in the lowest paid jobs /enemy aliens/ so he used his farming skills. I used to have to go after school to feed them, as mum talked endlessly of Australia and I dreamed of it.

May I know the reason for the half star deduction?
    Thank you!

I'm really sorry it was a mistake I dropped my phone a few weeks ago and broke the screen and now my keyboard is off Sinker off caliber because I tried to get 5 stars and it was selecting either 4 or 4.5 stars for several people I think it was like two of yours I've gone back in and edited my reviews but so far I have I don't see any change on my end if they haven't updated by this afternoon I was going to try to call someone and talk to them in person I really apologize both of yours were supposed to be 5 stars

Dickson,
A beautiful picture of your handsome Fighting Cockerel showing off his red fighting claws attached to his legs ready for battle. ( Not something I want to see) Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Great close-up of this rooster, with excellent detail and a beautiful view of its face. The colors are great and the pose on one foot is
fantastic. What a nice looking bird! Unique and wonderfully presented.

This one is a bit different from your usual ocean scenes. The image catches your eye with the details in the rooster. The green foliage that surrounds him, helps to show him off. Lovely image and a joy to view.

I'm glad he got over his shyness. He has nothing to be shy about. What chick wouldn't want him. :) I like that you used the entire frame for the rooster. The legs look a bit blurry, but not enough to count down for. The lighting is good. Sometimes white can look blown out. Of course you already know that. I'm glad he decided to strut his stuff.

A great shot of this white bird, like the textures and details and depth, very good light control with no burnouts in white,
A pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing,

A great photo. Excellent color. Sharp focus and detail.
Did you pay him to pose so well for his photo? Even his (her) legs are positioned for her wonderful portrait.
Nicely framed and presented.
