This little guy is so cute! I like how different your robins are than the ones we have here. I like the smaller shape of his head and the breast coloring is very pretty. This pose shows off his markings and shape really nicely.

    Grace,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this little European Robin an Old World Flycatcher just half the size of your American Robin which is a member of the Family of Thrushes. Both equally loved.

Great looking shot!. Fine example of bird photography. Your timing appears to be perfect and you have captured the alert look on the little fella's face very well. Thanks for sharing!

Such a beautiful shot Susan with the nice placement of the bird in your scene. I like the way his head is turned and the superb capture of the eye. Your spectacular lighting and sharp focus reveal good details and clarity in your photography. Your soft background compliment your shot beautifully. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

This is one of my favorite garden birds Susan, and it is posing for you in such a beautiful way. I especially like how well you have captured the shiny eye, and also how lovely the light is falling on this little beauty.

You also have a perfectly blurred background for the bird to stand out in an almost 3D way. Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details both in the feathers and the head of the bird. The exposure could not have been better and the colors so nice, natural and crisp.

The format you have cropped this photo into works so well and the little robin has got a perfect placement on the bottom right corner. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is a beautiful Robin in a wonderful pose on the green wire work of the feeder, this is clear and well focused, I see good detail in its feathers, face and beak, beautiful eye contact complete with a catch light . The blurred background pushes him forward allowing a good close look without distractions ! Very well composed and presented ! Beautiful work Susan!
