A great pose and a beautiful subject. The image is very nicely composed, the eye is very sharp and the colors are fantastic. I wish it was these guys instead of the Starlings that were imported to this country all those years ago.

I read somewhere recently they attempted to introduce them in New York State but they did not do well.

This is a nice shot of a robin in portrait. The cage lends a dimension. The robin looks very young and the pose is excellent. The colours bright and cheerful. Good light filter. Complimentary smudged background. A good contender for a Christmas card

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this adult European Robin an Old World Flycatcher as opposed to the American Robin which is twice as large & a Thrush.
Both species of Robin are equally loved.

another robin...on a feeder..but I must recognize that it is the best shot of a robin you posted: a very bright yellow color with excellent sharp focus and eye contact
