Lovely shot! It shows the Grand mountains in a good perspective. This picture makes me feel as if I'm heading towards the barn after a long ride. A very wonderful picture, Thank you for sharing! :) Jill

This is beautiful landscape photography. The clarity of the image is good. The early morning light on the mountains, the lonely barn in the foreground make it a well composed shot. Well done.!

Wonderful initial impression: this is a beautiful early morning scene, the mountains with some snow visible on the peaks, the old wooden barn with a fence across the front on the grassy field, well arranged in this vertical format, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well controlled, colors and tones appear natural in this lighting , I love the detail in the old wood of the barn. This is a beautiful scene, well presented!

I recognized the Tetons as soon as I saw the photo. Growing up in Idaho Fall, Idaho, we would camp in Yellowstone almost every weekend. Sometime we would go to Jackson Hole which is close to where you took this scene I believe. Great shot here Ruth Ann. That old barn looks great with the Grand Teton in the background. I might have cropped down a bit to really emphasize the scene and eliminate some of the empty space above thos majestic mountains. Just a thought. Very nice work and a wonderful scene Ruth Ann ~ Steve

What a beautiful scenic view. I can see where the barn would need to be lightened and I think you made the right choice there. My personal preference would be if you had cropped a bit more of the sky. I know the rule of thirds, but in this case I think it would have been best. Montana must be a beautiful place to live.

Thank you, mamamary! Montana is a beautiful place, but in this case I have to give credit to Wyoming...lol.

Well, Wyoming is beautiful as well.

I think this is the "Moulton Barn". I have never been there, but many years ago I was in a camera club and must have seen dozens of shots of this very barn. I think the vertical presentation emphasizes the height of the mountains.

Thank you, Mike. And you are correct it is the Moulton Barn.

Unique tall format for a landscape presentation.

Nicely lit sharp rocky mountain peaks but the lower half needs to be brightened up a bit to show more details.
Monochromatic foreground against a cloudless blue sky.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Thank you, Dick. The foreground is darker than I would prefer. I'll try working it some more...I appreciate the comment!

this is a very interesting photo. Seems like the barn was intentionally shaped like this to resemble the mountains. Your photo is sharp and presents good details and it is well composed. Although I think there is some room for cropping at the top. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thank you ahsanzia for your review. You are the second reviewer to mention the cropping at the top. I'll have to give it a try.
