Nice work in capturing this mother with two young. Good placement in the frame with sharp focus and good color rendering. Certainly used the right settings of the camera to get this SOOC shot. Best of luck in the contest Fred ~ Steve

Your composition is always spot on drawing the viewer into seeing what you want them to see. In this one it is interesting to see such large life in such a desolate place. Nice juxtaposition of living things going about business as usual in an environment meant to prevent business. Reasons for my five star vote.
