A beautiful picture of this tiny Anna's Hummingbird perched on the end of a branch looking over it's shoulder with one little beady black eye, it's crest feathers raised & the light showing off the beauty of it's iridescent green plumage. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is a truly impressive photo of a Hummingbird, and it is posing for you in such a lovely way. With the shallow DOF creating a nicely softened background the little bird is standing out so well.
The bird is sharp with clear and well defined details to be seen in the lovely feathers, and it is nothing wrong with the exposure either. This photo is just full of lovely greens, which is perfect for this contest.
I think perhaps I would have cropped just a tad more on the left to make the bird less centered, but this is a minor issue, because this is a truly lovely and well taken photo. I wish you luck with the contest.
