The first thing that came to mind was looking down at a stream of clear water in seen the water rucpshibg or over the pebbles and moving the sand and dirt,

I was just curious as to what you were painting your coasters on. I think you should do well selling these as each one is unique and interesting to look at. Do you coat them with something to protect them from wear? I'm enjoying them very much.

Many thanks, Karen, for your very nice review. Yes, when the paint has dried I varnish them with two or three coats of thin varnish. I buy the plain wooden coasters and after the paint and varnish is dry, I stick a felt backing on to them. I am thinking of trying to sell some at a local craft shop but really it wouldn't be very profitable as you can't really charge much for a coaster. Suzanne

Wow! This one has an outer space look , it could be another planet! This really draws the viewer in to study all of the little circle shapes , the darker ones look like actual holes. It also made me think of amber with tiny little partials captured inside ! The caramel and coffee colors are warm and very attractive together! Well presented!

This one has more of an "outer space" look; you know, the music of the orbs and all that. Anyway it is quite attractive with a bit of a different color palette than I am used to seeing.
