I really like landscapes like this. It is something very tranquil about this place. A place to sit down and contemplate. I especially like the way the light is falling on the distant hills, and also the puffy clouds in the sky.

The photo is sharp with well defined details and a perfect exposure, and again I really appreciate the nice and natural colors.

The format and framing is very good, and with a perfect POV, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a beautiful and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest Ruth Ann.

A beautiful sunlit mountain scenery the sun shining through the breaks in the clouds floating overhead giving patterns of dappled light & shade on the mountain's slopes rising up from the river on which the blue sky above is reflected. Beautiful & peaceful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
